When a piece of jewellery tells a story … this picture Boulder opal in a freeform shape tells a story of the Milky Way viewed in the outback with no artificial light distorting its beauty. Colours of light blue, green and dark blue in dark ironstone. Width 42.5 mm, height 18mm. Weight 47 carats. Above the Boulder opal is a natural Tanzanite princess cut 5x5mm, .65 carats. 18 karat Y/Gold high polished bezel setting and a hammered finish bail which would suit chains up to 4mm diameter. Pendant length 32mm. Weight 17.95 grams. Handmade by Regina Maeckle in South Australia.
