Interesting shell specimen from Coober Pedy, South Australia. The opalised fossils come from the Cretacous period (110 to 140 million years ago). Sandblasted specimen shows 4 shells, mussels and some smaller pieces in green, orange, blue and a skin shell with red crystal.
Measures 150 x 100 x 40mm. Weight 358 grams.
