Opalised shell fossil from Coober Pedy, South Australia from the Cretacous period, 110-140 million years ago.
Bright green, gold, blue colours on the surrounding edge and a soft grey, orange, pink, green in the centre. Top is polished and the back and sides show the natural shell.
Measures 30 x 25 x 10mm. Weight 7.3grams (36.5carats)
